# Licensing and Intellectual Property Terms

This repository contains educational documentation, architectural diagrams, procedural checklists, product demonstration screenshots, and a fictional sample screenplay. Because these components represent different categories of intellectual property, they are governed by distinct terms as outlined below.

## 1. Documentation & Educational Content

All original written documentation, educational guides, checklists, and technical reference material in this repository—including markdown files in `/`, `/guides/`, and `/docs/`—are licensed under the **Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)** license.

### Requirements

## 2. Product Screenshots & Demonstrations

The screenshots contained in `/screenshots/` illustrate document security workflows, access gating, watermarking controls, and reader analytics using [SendNow](https://sendnow.live/) as an exemplary implementation.

- These images are included for non-commercial documentation, educational, and instructional purposes.
- Any identifiable personal information (such as IP addresses and personal email handles) has been sanitized or redacted to preserve privacy.
- Product interfaces and user-interface layouts remain the intellectual property of SendNow.
- Third-party trademarks and brand references (including "SendNow", "Chrome", "macOS", and respective service marks) belong to their respective owners. Mention does not imply sponsorship or affiliation.

## 3. Sample Screenplay Content

The sample screenplay file located in `/examples/sample-screenplay.pdf` ("THE LAST CUT"):
- Is a **fictional demonstration script** created solely for document security testing, layout evaluation, and workflow demonstration.
- Is licensed under the **Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)** license.
- It may be freely shared and used for testing document workflows, but may not be used for commercial production or adapted into derivative scripts without explicit permission.
